For making Sheer Yakh:

  1. Pour and mix 1/2 cup of condensed milk, 1/4 cup of dry milk, and 1 cup of full cream milk on low heat.
  2. Add two cardamon to the mixture and heat them till it is near-boiling.
  3. Mix a tablespoon of corn starch in a bit of water and add it to the mixture. While it is boiling, the mixture looks thick. It is time to remove it from heat.
  4. Add 1 tsp vanilla and a pinch of saffron and mix them thoroughly.
  5. Put the mixture in the freezer and let it freeze for about 8 hours or till it is completely frozen.
  6.  Pour 1/2 teaspoon of rose water over it and garnish Sheer Yakh with pistachios.

  • a pinch saffron

  • 2 cardamom

  • 1 tbs corn starch

  • ½ tsp rose water

  • Ground pistachio (for garnish)
