  • 2 tablespoons yeast 
  • 2 tablespoons dry mint 
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ cup olive oil 
  • ¼ cup sunflower oil 
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 finely chopped onion 
  • 1 pinch of salt 
  • 1 lb halloumi cheese
  • Sesame seeds as needed (optional)

Step One

To make a delicious Hellimli, pour the flour into the bowl along with 2 tablespoons of yeast, 1/4 glass of olive oil, and 1/4 glass of sunflower oil and knead for 3-5 minutes.

Note: When kneading the dough, always add a little oil to your hands to prevent the dough from sticking.

Step Two

When making the dough, make sure it is not too sticky or too dry. Add flour to the dough if it is sticky and water if it is too dry. When the dough is ready, cover it with a cloth and set it aside for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
